When it is time to send a job to print, integrated job submission software allows users to submit projects to either in-house fm employees or pre-determined external vendors through a secure channel.
Cloud Printing & Scanning (file sharing)
ACR offers 2 different methods of sharing print jobs as well as files:Users can print their files to ACR’s cloud port to print files to the ACR Server cloud.
Using a proprietary process to redirect printjobs and store them on our server to share with other users. These spool files are stored securely on our server and can be seen by the owner of the files either privately or can be shared publicly in the organization.
The users can then walk up to their devices and release these files from the device directly or they can use the Alpha client to print to their supported devices either remotely or locally on the server.
Cost Estimation
ACR offers an option to give the users a cost estimate for
each job processed in the Alpha Client. When the user
assigns a project to a job, the job is analyzed for cost
estimation based on the job size, copy and page count,
and ink usage. This cost estimate is displayed in the
job history tab of the Alpha Client.
Rule-Based Printing
ACR can help users save money by analyzing print jobs
before they are printed. ACR print processor can pause
a color job to alert the user with an estimated cost saving
for printing the job in black & white.
The paused job will wait for a few seconds (configurable)
before it is either released or deleted (configurable).
Job Tickets (Finishing)
ACR Alpha client allows users to send their digital documents/print jobs/requests to our onsite Facility Management exports to finish a job.
